The Work on the Islands
Church Planting, Conferences, Biblical Leadership Training, Preaching Under The Tent:
When a pastor in the Caribbean believes that God would have him plant a church in a village or city on their Island, Operation ROC is there to assist. People don’t plant church’s, church’s plant churches. ROC currently has a complete church tent located on the Island of St Vincent. The church tent is fulfilled with chairs, led lighting, a sound system, a generator, and most importantly, a pulpit from where the Word of God is proclaimed.
Along with that, preachers from the States, as well as the Islands have preached under our church tent in one of the conferences we have helped to host. It is the national pastor and their church that facilitate these wonderful, Spirit-filled meetings. Since 2017, God has used ROC to plant or re-establish 5 local New Testament Baptist Churches in the following countries: Haiti, Dominican Republic, Zimbabwe, USA.
Mission Trips from the States:
Operation ROC works with the Baptist Churches in the US to help organize mission trips for evangelistic outreach, Bible Clubs and VBS. Please contact our office if you are interested in planning a mission trip to the Caribbean.
Meeting needs as the Lord provides:
Operation ROC is only the conduit that is used to help meet some of the needs in the Caribbean. These items vary from Island to Island. Some of the items included are: King James Bibles, tracts, teaching material, church supplies and equipment, personal needs of the pastor and his family. Operation ROC pays any shipping cost and any duty tax when the shipment arrives in country.
Assisting In Disaster Relief:
Operation ROC partners with ministries of like faith and practice in the event of a natural disaster. Those ministries include:
Calvary Baptist Bible College, Puerto Rico - Dr. Johnny Daniels, Chancellor
Baptist Bible College of the Caribbean, St Vincent - Pastor Dexter Kirby, President - Dr. Johnny Daniels, Chancellor
Sea Hope - Captain Buddy Puryear
Anchor Baptist Disaster Relief - Pisgah Forest, NC- Dr. Randy Barton, Pastor

The People of the Islands:
Most of the people that inhabit the Caribbean Islands originate in one of four people groups. Some of their ancestors were slaves that came from slave ships that left Africa. Of those that came from Africa some turned to piracy, but both ended up making their home on one of the Caribbean Islands. The other people groups were Indians. These came mostly from South America. These tribes included: Arawak Indians, the Siboney Indians, and the Carib Indians. Would you help us reach these people with the gospel of Jesus Christ?
